Importing from China without the surprises
Most importers know the supplier price. The costs that surprise them come after: freight, duty, VAT, port charges and delivery. We put them in one written landed cost before you place the order.
What we need to quote
- What you are importing, and the supplier’s invoice if you have it.
- Size and weight, or the packing list.
- Where the goods collect in China and where they deliver in South Africa.
- Your Incoterm with the supplier, for example EXW or FOB. See Incoterms.
Estimate your costs with the landed cost calculator, or read how a freight rate is built.
Questions we get
Sea or air from China?
Sea is cheapest per kilogram and takes weeks. Air is faster and costs more per kilogram. We help you choose and quote both when it is not obvious.
Can you collect from my supplier?
Collection and consolidation at origin are arranged with your supplier or through our GLN network partners, and quoted with the rest.
What duty and VAT will I pay?
It depends on the tariff classification and the value of the goods. We work it out before the cargo lands and show it in your landed cost.
Can I get a quote today?
Send us what you are moving and where it goes. A controller replies within 1 working day with one written landed cost.
