Questions we get
How long does it take?
By air, Italy to Cape Town or Johannesburg is typically a few days door to door for ordinary cargo, including clearing. By sea, LCL and full containers take weeks, not days. We confirm the schedule when we quote.
What is LCL?
Less than a container load. Your cartons share a container with other shippers, so you pay for the space you use. Groupage is the same idea: several consignments combined into one shipment.
Can you collect in Italy?
Collection is arranged with you or your supplier and quoted with the rest, so you get one landed cost to your door.
What about duty and VAT?
We work out duty and import VAT from the tariff classification before the cargo lands and show it in the same written landed cost as freight and delivery.
One written landed cost, usually within one working day. No obligation.
